ATTENTION CNS race drivers!!! We have created a directory for the businesses that support the racing at CNS. Therefore, if you are a registered driver at Colorado National Speedway please add your business or sponsor’s business to the directory. 2017 Schedule Announced

The 2017 schedule has been posted! While the schedule is currently tentative and all dates are subject to change you can get a feel for what’s to come this season here. Practice sessions starts March 11th and the racing kicks off April 1st. One of the most exciting highlights of the 2017 schedule is the first appearance of Davey Hamilton’s King of the Wing Sprint Car series which comes to town Saturday August 19th. The K&N Pro Series West makes their annual appearance on June 10th. The season will end Saturday October 7th with Challenge Cup XLIII.

Figure 8 Division Rules Meeting

There will be a Figure 8 meeting which will be held at Taco Loco in Dacono on highway 52 just of east of Jerry D’s (Downtown Dacono). The meeting will be this Thursday December 29th 2016 at 6PM. The meeting will be for the purpose of discussing changes and proposals for the Figure 8 division for the 2017 season and beyond. Please plan to attend to have your voice heard.

Grand American Modified Rule Refinements

After receiving feedback from many of the Grand American Modified drivers and teams we will be refining the rules as follows. Bump stops will be legal in the GAM division. And the overwhelming response was to NOT allow the 525 crate motor in the Grand American Modified division therefore we will also be making that change. We want to thank everyone who took the time to help us refine the rules for the GAM division.

Supermodifieds at CNS in 2017

The CNS Supermodifieds will be running a limited schedule for 2017. The rules will remain essentially the same as last year except the cars will be tech’d and officiated by the CNS staff. Grand American Modified Rules Adjustments for 2017

Here are the results of the Rules Committee meeting in regard to changes and amendments to the Grand American Modified rules for the 2017 season at CNS. Aluminum cylinder heads are allowed with 25 pounds added to each frame rail at the dog-leg (on both sides). Here are the results of the Rules Committee meeting in regard to changes and amendments to the rules for the 2017 season at CNS. General Rules 1. The penalty for a major rule infraction will be as follows: loss of points and purse for the night and 100 points subtracted from the seasons point total. 2016 Year In Review
