Noise Limits Enforced in 2019

The muffler rule will be enforced in 2019. During the first race there were several cars that had no mufflers or did not come within the the 95 decibel limit. We are giving a small grace period to April 30th with continued monitoring though April. As of may 4th if your car does not fall within the acceptable limits the car in violation will be forced to start in the rear of the feature event. The readings will be taken…

Super Late Model Rules Updates and Clarifications

Super Late Model Rule 18.9 will read as follows: No data acquisition or cockpit adjustable devices, wiring or components allowed on race day or during race day practice. Option 7 S.E.A.L approved engine HAMNER engines will be required to run 1.100 restrictors all other engines will still use the 1.150 restrictor. Rule 1.6 No type of under body air deflectors allowed. Rail’s End Beer Company Late Model Kick Off Canceled

Due to adverse conditions the Rail’s End Beer Company Late Model Kick Off scheduled for April 13th has been cancelled. After Wednesday’s snow the amount of moisture in and around the track will make it impossible to hold the event. Adding to the challenge of the amount of snow received the temperatures are not expected to rise out of the 40’s therefore the moisture will not have time to evaporate sufficiently. 2019 CNS Rules and Tech Department Update

The 2019 season is fast approaching and the Colorado National Speedway rules are in the process of being finalized. Redlined versions should be published in the next week or so. The 2019 Tech department will consist of the following: Tim Canada, Preston Peltier, John Gault, and Adam Hilton.

Gen 6 Five-Star Super Late Model Body Approved

Colorado National Speedway has approved the new 5-Star generation 6 Super Late Model body for use in the 2019 season. Also the new 5-Star Pro Truck body is also approved for the 2019 season. The new 5-Star bodies will NOT be approved for the Late Model division in 2019.
