2019 Tentative Schedule Announced

Colorado National Speedway has announced its tentative schedule for the 2019 season. While the schedule is subject to change some of the highlights are: Practice dates are schedule for March 16, 23, and 30th with the Racers Appreciation Party on the 30th. First race is April 6th with the Super Late Models, Grand American Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Figure 8s. Official Memorial Service for Darrell Smith

The celebration of the life of Darrell Smith this past Sunday at CNS was a very special event. There was a fantastic turnout with attendance in the hundreds. Cold and Wet Forecast Claim May 19th Race at CNS

Over an inch of rain is expected to fall on Colorado National Speedway Saturday May 19th which was supposed to be the Whelen Engineering Honors First Responders Night featuring the Pro Trucks, Late Models, Mod Coupes, Pure Stocks and DEMOX. Qualifying was almost complete when the first rain drops began to fall on the Candlewood Suites Mother’s Day Madness event at CNS. The CNS staff held out all week hoping this weekend’s forecast would change but to no avail. The forecasted rain, snow, and cold weather has forced Colorado National Speedway to cancel the Cigar Dojo Rocky Mountain Rumble that was scheduled for April 21st. Cold and Wet Weather Claim CNS Season Opener

With the rain and snow moving into the front range Colorado National Speedway has decided to cancel the Saturday April 7th season opener. Friday’s temperatures will not exceed the 30s and Saturday isn’t much warmer with an expected high of 55.
