Rain, Snow and Cold Claim Cigar Dojo Rocky Mountain Rumble

The CNS staff held out all week hoping this weekend’s forecast would change but to no avail. The forecasted rain, snow, and cold weather has forced Colorado National Speedway to cancel the Cigar Dojo Rocky Mountain Rumble that was scheduled for April 21st. Cold and Wet Weather Claim CNS Season Opener

With the rain and snow moving into the front range Colorado National Speedway has decided to cancel the Saturday April 7th season opener. Friday’s temperatures will not exceed the 30s and Saturday isn’t much warmer with an expected high of 55. Therefore areas of the stands and portions of the track, pits and parking lots, will not be adequately dry for Saturday evening. Adding to the problem is more rain is forecasted for Saturday night. North Side Towing ups the ante for DemoX Trucks!

In 2018 North Side Towing has added to the guaranteed purse for both divisions in the DEMOX. Which means with their help there is now a $500 guarantee in the heavy “truck” division for the 2018 season. 2018 Race Schedule Announced

The 2018 racing schedule has been announced. While it’s important to remember that at this early stage all dates are tentative and subject to change you can view the entire schedule here.
