Protest Results for the #9 Pro Truck

After the Saturday September 16th Pro Truck race a protest was filed against the #9 Pro Truck. The tires of the #9 Pro Truck have been tested by a third party and have come back negative for any illegal substances and therefore legal. This means the #9 Pro Truck officially finished second in the September 16th Pro Truck feature event and also second in the final season points standings.

Impounding of Super Late Model Tires for Labor Day Race

All Super Late Model tires must be bought, mounted, and impounded between now and qualifying for Saturday’s Labor Day race. Therefore Super Late Model tires must be purchased and mounted by CNS and in CNS’s possession prior to qualifying on Saturday September 2nd. 602 Crate Motor Rule For the Mod Coupe Division

On Monday July 24th there was a very productive meeting with the Mod Coupe drivers, owners, and teams. The turnout for the meeting was outstanding. Mission Statement: To provide our Competitors and Participants with a safe, exciting, and enjoyable experience during all racing events at Colorado National Speedway (“CNS”) by keeping the racing safe, competitive, and economical in a fair environment for all Competitors and Participants in all divisions, through the use of a committee decision making process. The Rules Committee has been formed to allow car owners and racers an avenue to discuss and submit ideas or seek clarification pertaining to any and all written rules. The Committee will decide by a majority vote whether a new rule or change to an existing rule should be considered. If considered, the item will be discussed by the Committee, evaluated on its overall financial impact on both competitors and the division as a whole, then voted on and passed or not passed according to the majority rule. Each Member shall have one vote. The Committee shall consist of several Members who must be either CNS Drivers (registered and active), Crew, or Team Owners; appointed based on racing experience and knowledge of the sport. The Track Owner, the Head Tech Official, and other individuals may be included as appropriate.
