Super Stock Points Correction

On August 25th Super Stock #32L finished 14th in the feature event and those points were inadvertently awarded to the #32 Super Stock which affected the final points standings. The error was caught in a year-end points audit by NASCAR. Therefore the #32 of Cody Milan will finish 4th in points with 294. 2nd place in points now is awarded to #60 Jonathan Lindberg and 3rd place to #99s Sam Messerli.

Super Late Model Driver Meeting Oct 3 2018

On Wednesday October 3rd 7PM at the CNS main office there will be a meeting for Super Late Model drivers who finished in the top 6 in points in 2018. This meeting is for drivers only, no owners or crew members allowed. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the 2018 season and get feedback for upcoming Rules Committee meetings in the off-season. Super Stocks added to Challenge Cup

On the October 6th Challenge Cup the Mod Coupes have been removed from the schedule and the Super Stocks have been added to race in honor of Darrel Smith longtime driver who passed away late this summer. Super Stocks 60 and 3.2

Both Super Stocks #3.2 and #60 have been disqualified from the first Super Stock feature event on September 22nd. The offenses are as follows: Rough driving on the track resulting in accident and verbally assaulting a NASCAR official by crew members in the pits. These are both direct violations of the CNS rules.

Grand American Modified Tire Announcement

The CNS Staff has determined that on Saturday September 29th the Grand American Modifieds will be allowed to run 4 new tires. The 29th is Championship for the GAMs and therefore all drivers and teams can run 4 new tires for that night.

The CNS 70+ Club!

Colorado National Speedway has a rich history in Colorado and we would like to honor that history by announcing the 70+ Club. September 1st Labor Day race Schedule

Below is the schedule for the Labor Day race at CNS on September 1st. Please note the Super Late Models will be running a 40 lap feature at the start of the night and an 80 lap feature at the end of the night. Both races are full points. Also note the Bandolero dash races will happen directly before the opening ceremonies.

Free Bandolero Practice This Friday

On Friday August 17th CNS will offer a free practice session for the Bandolero cars from 5:30PM until 7PM. Make sure to come on out and get some track time and prepare for Saturday night’s race. On Saturday tech will be checking Bandolero weight, and restrictor plates. We had earlier mentioned that we are moving to a 490 or 500 gear exclusively.
