2019 CNS Rules and Tech Department Update

The 2019 season is fast approaching and the Colorado National Speedway rules are in the process of being finalized. Redlined versions should be published in the next week or so. The 2019 Tech department will consist of the following: Tim Canada, Preston Peltier, John Gault, and Adam Hilton.

Gen 6 Five-Star Super Late Model Body Approved

Colorado National Speedway has approved the new 5-Star generation 6 Super Late Model body for use in the 2019 season. Also the new 5-Star Pro Truck body is also approved for the 2019 season. The new 5-Star bodies will NOT be approved for the Late Model division in 2019.

The new independent suspension that has been developed for the Bandolero cars will NOT be allowed at Colorado National Speedway for the 2019 season.

Formal Apology Regarding SLM #12 Non-Disqualification

Jim Nordhougen of Colorado National Speedway would like to formally apologize for interfering in a decision that the Tech Department was in process of determining concerning the #12 Super Late Model during the 09-22-2018 preliminary feature event. At that time, there was discussion with the Tech Officials concerning possible illegal parts on the vehicle. Super Stock Points Correction

On August 25th Super Stock #32L finished 14th in the feature event and those points were inadvertently awarded to the #32 Super Stock which affected the final points standings. The error was caught in a year-end points audit by NASCAR. Therefore the #32 of Cody Milan will finish 4th in points with 294. 2nd place in points now is awarded to #60 Jonathan Lindberg and 3rd place to #99s Sam Messerli.
