Welcome to Colorado National Speedway
As of yesterday the weather forecast looked fairly grim but CNS officials were still holding out hope that the May 19th races would be able to be run. However, the rain has intensified and the forecast continues to worsen therefore CNS officials have been forced to cancel the events scheduled for tonight (May 19th).
Next weekend is our big 2-Day Memorial Day race. On Saturday May 26th we will feature Sportsman, Pro Truck, Super Stocks, Supermodifieds, and Trains. Then on Sunday May 27th get ready for a 100 lap Late Model main event, a 40 lap GAM main event, plus the Mod Coupes, Legends, and Figure 8s.
The weather forecast for Saturday May 12th is dismal. The National Weather service has predicted 50% chance of heavy showers and high temp's in the low 50's. Therefore we are canceling the events scheduled for 05-12-2012 hopefully this early notice will allow you to adjust your weekend plans accordingly.
Colorado National Speedway would like to wish all the mother's a joyous and relaxing Mother's Day!
We will see all of you on May 19th for Van's Equipment Night featuring the Late Models, Grand American Modifieds, Mod Coupes, and the Figure 8s!
Thank you - CNS Management
(Dacono CO 05-05-2012) Lightning Ric Lothert returned to CNS to dominate the Super Stock main event and prove once again his yellow and green #46 is the car to beat any time it rolls off the trailer. And lightning struck again in the late model feature but this time by Mother Nature forcing the race night to be shortened by the CNS Track Officials for the safety of the loyal CNS patrons.

We hope this will help teams with tire cost and help keep the competion on a level playing field.
