Garrett O'NeilIn a tragic off-track incident, Garrett O'Neil lost his life this week. A talented driver, Garrett helmed the #0 Legend car and was one of CNS's brightest young stars. Everyone at Colorado National Speedway wishes to offer their warmest thoughts and prayers in support of the O'Neil family during this dark time. We kindly ask all of our drivers, patrons and anyone reading this to keep the O'Neil family in your prayers.

Garrett O'Neil, you will be sorely missed.

May means a lot for CNS race fans. Not only do we have some of our most anticipated races of the season coming up, but May signals the unofficial start of summer which means clear skies, warm weather, huge car counts and (finally) a dry track!

beer-gardenThat's right folks, while the state of Colorado sat under 5 feet of snow all winter long, we at CNS were hard at work crafting something new and improved for our adult patrons.

Parents, Seniors and everyone else share many things in common. We like to have somewhere comfortable to relax and just be ourselves. After a long week of obligations, appointments and headaches, we like to kick up our feet, have someone bring us a cold drink and ask "can I bring you anything else?". Thanks to the thoughtful folks at CNS now you can do just that in the all new Beer Garden!

We've been waiting 6 months to say it...
YOU'VE GOTTA BE HERE!

legends-opener-2010First of all, Congrats to Pamela Stovall (aka musicsavesmysol on twitter) for winning our first twitter contest of 2010! Pam and nine of her friends and family are coming to our first race, this Saturday April 10th FREE. OF. CHARGE!

Wanna win our next contest? Sign up on twitter.com, follow us @cnsracing and look for our next contest announcement.

On to the racing!

This Saturday, April 10th is the first race of the season and it starts at 5PM! Weather reports show clear skies and temps around 70 degrees. If you've got gasoline running through your veins, you know nothing beats the smell of burnt rubber on a warm spring evening.

Come on down and check out the action as the Sportsman and Pro Trucks hit the track for 30 lap main events! Open wheel fans are in for a treat because the Grand American Modifieds are gonna burn rubber through a 30 lap A main of their own. The speedy Legends and CRAAAAZY Trains will round out the evening, which is SURE to be one you aren't going to forget!

We'll see you this Saturday, April 10th right here at Colorado National Speedway. You've Gotta Be Here!!!
