Circle Drags

So you think your fast eh? Come on, you know you have had dreams of strapping on a helmet and showing the crowd at CNS that you know the fastest line around the track. Well here is your chance! Yes, it's the world famous Circle Drags at Colorado National Speedway. 16 cars go head to head in a single elimination tournament where there is only ONE trophy awarded!

Next Circle Drags will be the first Saturday of every month (unless otherwise noted). Please sign up the week of the event and check the Souvineer Shack when you arrive at the track to make sure you are on the list.

How do you get involved you ask?

Well... first you need a car. You also need functional seatbelts in your street car, as well as a helmet, and a longsleeve shirt. You must also fill out the following pre-registration form and FAX it to CNS at 303-828-2403.

Finally you need to print out the release form and have it with you the night of the Circle Drags.

Will you be the last driver standing?

The entire staff of Colorado national Speedway would like to pass on it's condolences to the family of Jim Opperman.

A successful businessman and former owner of Quality Metal Products, 1974 ERA Super Modified Champion and Late Model driver, Jim Opperman was instrumental in the conversion of Colorado National Speedway from one of the nations finest ½ mile dirt tracks to the present 3/8 mile asphalt facility. Opperman bought Colorado National Speedway in 1989 and transformed the speedway into what as been acknowledged as one of the premier asphalt tracks in the country.
