(Dacono, CO - 10-01-2011) Sportsman points leader Lee Kemmit proved once again he is the car to beat in 2011 winning yet another main event. And while Rick Smith won the late model feature, point leader Dan Savage gained valuable ground on second place Bruce Yackey.

The championship points battle in the Late Model division has been close all year and with only a few races left #74 Dan Savage holds a small lead over #12 Bruce Yackey making each race monumentally important. Early in the race #31 Rick Smith grabbed the lead but the "savageman" Dan Savage had already worked his way into 2nd and was battling Smith for the lead. To Savage's delight Yackey was back in 5th struggling to pass #27 Roger Avants and #7 Adam Dienes. Multi-time main event winner this season (and also 3rd place in the points chase) Rick Smith held on for the win by just a few feet over Savage who gained valuable points in his championship quest. In 3rd place it was #27 Roger "the iceman" Avants, 4th went to impressive rookie #7 Adam Deines and rounding out the top 5 was #66 Darren Bucklen. #12 Bruce Yackey finished a disappointing 6th place hurting his chances at catching Savage for the title. When all the dust settled Savage holds a mere 23 point lead over Yackey.

#98 Lee Kemmit led every lap of the Pair-A-Dice Interior Finishes Sportsman main event extending his points lead even further on his teammate #6 Tommy Roe. After a mid-race spin by rookie #9 Dalton Hewitt, #8 Jeff Walbaum did what almost no driver has been able to do all year when he stayed within striking distance of Kemmit, for the remainder of the race. Lee Kemmit in his GTI Dodge grabbed yet another main event win extending his dominating season. In 2nd place was #8 Jeff Walbaum, #6 Tommy Roe came in 3rd, #41 Dale reeder finished an impressive 4th, and #43 Stan Griffin rounded out the top 5.

Truck #34 Rudy Vanderwal and #32 Mark Neff ran side by side for several laps at the start of the Pro Truck main event thrilling the loyal CNS fans. Yet after Neff secured the lead he began to run away from the rest of the field. Vanderwal couldn't keep up with Neff and started to get pressure from #09 Justin Simonson for 2nd place. The "ice man" Roger Avants was hot on the heels of Simonson in his beautiful orange and blue #27 Pro Truck. #36 The "pebble" Matt Burton was on the bumper of Avants making the 4-way battle for second place extremely exciting. In the end Neff won by a straightaway, Vanderwal held off Simonson for 2nd. Avants finished 4th and Burton came in 5th.

Ray was clearly the car to beat on this night and he built a large lead that Clegg couldn't overcome. Ray cruised to the win followed by Clegg, #8 Jon Krizman finished a strong 3rd, #06 Mike Gallegos came in 4th coming from a 15th place starting spot. Rounding out the top 5 was car #34 Chris Cooper.
