IThis year’s outstanding schedule at Colorado National Speedway promises to deliver “an explosion of NASCAR action in 2008.” Every week from March 25th through September 30th the excitement roars to life at the state’s only home for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

Whether you’re an avid race fan ready to experience some of the most fierce short-track competition found anywhere, or you’re just looking for an exciting and affordable entertainment venue for the entire family, make plans now to head to the lightning-fast 3/8 paved oval. Race fans will enjoy 30 full-throttle, action filled NASCAR events packed into this season’s schedule, assuring that every race enthusiast will go home smiling!

The drama builds all season long as the finest drivers from throughout the entire Front Range area and beyond travel to the speedway in hope of earning points towards the track championship, while also chasing an extensive list of awards and recognition through one of the sport’s richest short-track programs – the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. This premier short track series offers competitors at 66 selected facilities from throughout the nation an opportunity to compete in the 1.7 million dollars in national prize money.

All of the speedways regular divisions will return for the 2008 campaign, headed up by the Late Models, known as the “Big Bad Boys” of Colorado National Speedway. In addition, the 2007 season offers close, fender-rubbing action from some of the most competitive racers, including ProTrucks, Grand American Modifieds, Sportsman, Legends, and Super Stocks.  Open-wheel fans can look forward to more racing action from the Midgets, Super Modifieds, and the Modified Coupes with the return after a long absence of the Winged Spring Cars in 2008!

And of course, for those fans that enjoy just a little bit of “crazy” don’t miss the action when the Figure-8s, Trains, and School Buses take to the speedway. Guaranteed to add thrills and enjoyment to your racing experience!
