A reminder to everyone – Colorado National Speedway will begin racing this weekend to Drivers and their crews only. Unfortunately, Spectators are not permitted. The grandstands will be closed to our patrons, and pit side admission will be strictly limited to the drivers and only nine of their crew. Attention Drivers and Crew: This coming Saturday, June 13 CNS will resume racing without Fans in the Stands pursuant to the Sixth Amended Public Health Order #20-28 (Section 1(J)(5)). The divisions racing will be the SLM, PS, LEG, and BD (no trains). F8 will be added to the June 20th event to give all divisions the most possible laps (June 13th was discussed, but would not give the F8 much track time with four other divisions). On May 19, 2020 Gerda L. Heffley pasted away at the age of 94. Gerda and her husband Gene were the founders of Colorado National Speedway. It was through their love for the sport, their amazing vision and hard work that Colorado National Speedway is here today. Gerda was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1926. Along with her Mother and sister, Gerda survived WWII and the Nazis invasion. As a young woman living in war torn Frankfurt she was questioned…

Drivers – we are planning to host a Hot Laps / Test & Tune session next weekend (Weekend of June 6th). Entry will be limited to Drivers and Crew only. Kelly Villers

Colorado National Speedway was saddened today to learn of the passing of one of our great competitors, Kelly Villers. Kelly was best known here as a Train Driver, and in addition to being a fierce competitor on the track, was committed to making racing as fun and exciting as possible for fans young and old. NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Statement

Track Owners/Operators, Yesterday NASCAR and ARCA announced in official statements that all race events were postponed through May 3rd in accordance with safety protocols recommended by the CDC.
