CNS Statement to the Denver Post

Colorado National Speedway is currently focused on providing our dedicated racers with a fun and safe environment to enjoy the competition they love. We appreciate all of the guidance received from the Weld County Health Department, NASCAR, and want to thank the City of Dacono for their help navigating through the crisis. Everyone at Colorado National Speedway looks forward to resuming normal racing events as soon as possible.

July 4th Event Schedule

A reminder to everyone – Colorado National Speedway will be racing again this weekend to Drivers and their crews only. Divisions racing will be the Elite V Twin Legend Cars, Lincoln Tech Pure Stocks, Elite Diesel Service Figure 8s and the Bandoleros. Gerda L. Heffley

On May 19, 2020 Gerda L. Heffley pasted away at the age of 94. Gerda and her husband Gene were the founders of Colorado National Speedway. It was through their love for the sport, their amazing vision and hard work that Colorado National Speedway is here today. Gerda was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1926. Along with her Mother and sister, Gerda survived WWII and the Nazis invasion. As a young woman living in war torn Frankfurt she was questioned…

Father’s Day Super Sunday Monster Truck Show Postponed

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the annual Father’s Day Super Sunday Monster Truck Show has been postponed. We are working with all of the Monster Trucks, Stunt Teams, and other performers to find a date this fall to host this very special event. We’re sorry for the disappointment.

Test and Tune Next Weekend

Drivers – we are planning to host a Hot Laps / Test & Tune session next weekend (Weekend of June 6th). Entry will be limited to Drivers and Crew only. UPDATE – Season Delay Extended

To our CNS Faithful, We regret to inform you that per Governor Polis’ latest executive action, the Speedway will be unable to reopen for racing through May 27. Executive Order D 2020 044 – signed April 26, 2020 prohibits public gatherings of ten (10) persons or more in both public spaces and private commercial venues. Unfortunately, that’s us.
