Statement Regarding May 24, 2025

To our CNS Faithful,

Memorial Day Weekend has always been special at Colorado National Speedway; with dazzling fireworks, outstanding racing, and fun for the whole family. For 2025, things turned out a little differently. Yes, it's raining here as we write this, and although canceling early so that drivers and fans could make other plans was the right decision, it doesn't make today (Sunday's) cancellation feel any better.

Saturday's event was supposed to be exceptional. Despite the cold temperatures, the most reliable weather forecasts said we should have enough time to complete the races before the rain arrived. Yet after 60 years, there is one thing we aren't good at, and that is controlling the weather.

We were equally disappointed that the ARCA race could not finish, and we'll feel the sting of the loss of this weekend for a long time. But one thing we are proud of is our tradition of being a family friendly venue, and family always looks out for one another.

That is why:

1. All online / advance tickets for Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th will be honored for another race of the same price point during the 2025 season.

2. All tickets purchased in person Saturday will also be honored for another event this year. Simply bring your receipt to the ticket booth, and we'll do the rest.

3. Pit Bands - you know what to do (don't lose them!)

We may never be able to predict the weather here in Colorado - wait ten minutes and it will change again - but one thing is certain: we look forward to seeing you all again soon for the best NASCAR Action in the West at Colorado National Speedway.
