7-1-25 ~ Dacono, CO
Since 2018, Colorado National Speedway has hosted the ground pounding, methanol breathing winged sprint cars over 4th of July weekend. In 2025, CNS will once again play host to one of our most beloved traditions; only this year, it’s even bigger and better than ever. With nearly 30 Sprint Cars pre-registered from across the country, and an epic $10,000 to win for each night of racing, all eyes will be on CNS to find out who will be the fastest sprint car on asphalt! We hope you'll join us once again this Friday & Saturday & sell out CNS.

Let’s meet some of the drivers who will be competing with us:
Sammy Swindell
The three-time World of Outlaws champion will make his return to CNS for the first time since the 80's when CNS was dirt and hosted the World of Outlaws regularly. Sammy will be competing with Bryan Gossel in a team car for the weekend and will be fun to watch him compete at CNS this time on the pavement.

Bobby Santos III
A five-time winner of the CNS Sprint Car Spectacular, Santos took home the win on the Saturday portion of the Sprint Car Spectacular which included a fantastic battle with Aaron Willison. Santos has swept both nights of action in 2023 & 2019 and is looking to do much of the same in 2025 and continue to increase his win streak at CNS. Santos is a well-known diverse racer: driving everything from a USAC Silver Crown Car to being a regular with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Davey Hamilton Jr.
Davey Hamilton Jr., the son of previous all-time track record holder Davey Hamilton Sr., is set to be back in his No. 14 machine for the Independence Day weekend. The Floridian has made 7 starts at CNS and picked up the win during the Sunday edition of this race in 2022. Hamilton Jr is the promotor of the Open Wheel Showdown which features some of the best Sprint Cars, Modifieds & Super Modifieds on Pavement; with events happening in November at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Aaron Willison
Willison will be making the long tow from British Columbia, Canada in his bright orange No. 14W. Willison, the current all-time track record holder for the fastest lap in CNS History with a blistering time of 13.131 at 102.81 MPH (which was set during qualifying on 7/3/2022). Last year, Willison won in thrilling fashion beating out Bobby Santos III during the Sunday portion of the Sprint Car Spectacular. Willison was the inaugural winner of the Open Wheel Showdown in Las Vegas in 2023.

Kody Swanson
Swanson will be making the tow from Indiana for the first time, Swanson driving the No. 50 sprint car is an 8-Time USAC Silver Crown champion & regular with the 500 Sprint Car Tour in the Midwest. Swanson is coming off a big win last weekend on the high banks at Winchester Speedway in Indiana and will be a top contender this weekend for the Sprint Car Spectacular.
Swanson was the big winner during the Open Wheel Showdown in Las Vegas in 2024.

Eric Humphries
Humphries makes a return to lightning quick 3/8 mile oval and is one of the only drivers to have competed in nearly every Sprint Car event CNS has hosted since 2018. With 7 starts, Humphries has two feature wins; with the last one coming in 2021 during the Sunday running of the Independence Day event. Humphries also grabbed the very first Sprint Car Spectacular victory when this event became a two-day show; moving from August to the big July weekend. Humphries is hungry to get back to CNS victory lane.

Let's meet the rest of the field heading to CNS over 4th of July Weekend!
