On Monday, August 3rd Colorado National Speedway hosted Fire Dept. Captain Dave Sagel for an unforgettable bucket list event. Captain Sagel, who is battling stage 4 cancer, is a lifelong Ford guy and gifted mechanic who always wanted the chance to race a stock car.
With the help of CNS drivers Chris Cox, Mike Cox, Mahkrysta Hilton, and Aubrei Bella Hilton, Captain Sagel was not only treated to hot laps at CNS, but some door to door action as well.
We wish Captain Sagel the very best in his fight against cancer, and are proud to have him as a member of our racing family.
