This weekend Colorado National Speedway will start crowning 2022 champions during the Longmont Dairy Udder Madness night featuring the Mountain States Fire Protection Super Late Models, Sunoco Race Fuels Grand American Modifieds, Rock N Roll Brewery Pure Stocks & Demo X. Grand American Modifieds & Pure Stocks will be the first divisions to decide a champion.
SUNOCO RACE FUELS GRAND AMERICAN MODIFIEDS
This season the Grand American Modifieds have put on great races with large car counts every night. The competition has been fierce with 2 first time winners 89 Jacob Smith & 99 Jordan Smith. The championship will come down to the last lap as the top 4 in points still have a mathematical chance at the championship as they are separated by just 21 points, and the top 2 separated by just 1 point.

Last season Kyle Clegg narrowly missed winning the championship over Ron O’Neil. No matter who captures the championship, they will be a first time GAM champion.

The Pure Stocks have put on some entertaining races this season and offered many spectacular moments. We’ve also seen several first time winners this season including the two drivers who are 1st (5C Kyle Carrasco) & 2nd (Isaac Almaswari) in points. Heading into Saturday the top 2 are separated by only 4 points.

Whoever wins the championship in the Pure Stocks will be required to move up to the super stock division or any other division that competes at the speedway. The Pure Stocks are designed for less experienced drivers who are getting their start in racing.
