Colorado National Speedway drivers to be recognized at the 2025 NASCAR Awards Ceremony

Since becoming a paved 3/8 mile oval in 1989, Colorado National Speedway has been apart of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series program which gives our drivers a chance to be recognized nationally for their accomplishments and compete against drivers from across the country to accumulate the most points to win a national championship in the NASCAR regional series.
There are five divisions that compete for national points each year with division 1 being the premier division at NASCAR sanctioned weekly tracks from across the country.
CNS classifies the divisions as follows:
Division 1: Super Late Model
Division 2: Pro Truck
Division 3: Late Model
Division 4: Grand American Modified
Division 5: Figure 8/Super Stock/Pure Stock
At season end, all NASCAR Regional champions & teams are recognized at the annual NASCAR Awards Ceremony in Charlotte, NC.
The Following Drivers will be recognized for their 2025 accomplishments on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Division 1: Track Champion – No. 32 Brett Yackey with back-to-back championships in the Super Late Model at CNS.

Division 1: State Champion - No. 82 Michael Scott (Super Late Model) with his first State championship and finishing 98th overall in Division 1 standings out of 1,112 competitors.

Division 2: No. 9 Curtis Heldenbrand (Pro Truck) finished 80th overall in Division 2 standings and picked up the West Region Division 2 championship just ahead of No. 22 Brian Yackey who finished 2nd in west standings out of 973 total competitors.
Division 4: No. 51 Cade Fox (Grand American Mod) finished 48th overall in Division 4 standings and finished 3rd in West Region standings, while No. 66R Eric Rhead finished 50th overall and 4th in West Region Standings out of 743 total competitors.
Division 5: No. 12S Shawn Sulley (Super Stock) finished 7th in overall Division 5 standings and finished 3rd in West Region standings. Not far behind was No. 18Y Justin Young who finished 12th overall and 7th in west region standings out of 742 competitors.
CNS is very proud and thankful for all the incredible weekly competitors who continue to support short track racing in Colorado, we could not do it without you. NASCAR Weekly Racing continues to remain an integral part of CNS and we can’t wait to see all the competitors recognized nationally on November 21, 2025.
