Yackey, Alamaa, Clegg, and Galvin Victorious on Tower’s Night Out

MATCO Tools Pro Trucks. 3c Cassidy Hinds and #22 Brian Yackey led the Pro Trucks to the green flag for the 30 lap feature. After 3 laps completed, #5 Troy Witthar, #71 Tim DuVall, and #29 Dalton Webb got tangled together bringing out the first caution of the night. After going back green, #22 Brian Yackey takes over the lead and begins to pull away from the field, while #50 Tyler Wiggans, #16 Travis Roe, and #43 Kody Vanderwal battle three wide for 6th, 7th and 8th. At the half way mark, #22 Brian Yackey continues to lead by a couple seconds while the rest of the field battled for position. With 7 laps to go, the second caution comes out allowing the field to get bunched back. #22 Brian Yackey quickly makes his way back out front of the field as 3c Cassidy Hinds, #33 Tyler Davis, and #7 Adam Deines go three-wide for 2nd with 5 laps to go. #22 Brian Yackey continued on to win the race followed by #33 Tyler Davis.

Galitz Transportation Late Models. The third feature of the night started with #31 Rick Smith and #98 Lee Kemmit on the front row for a 30 lap feature. #31 Rick Smith quickly got out front and pulled away from the field as #98 Lee Kemmit, #8 Dan Alamaa, and 6R Tommy Roe battled for position. After 12 laps completed, #31 Rick Smith is about a second a head of the field and #8 Dan Alamaa was able to get around #98 Lee Kemmit for second. At the half way point, #8 Dan Alamaa caught #31 Rick Smith and was right behind him. After #8 Dan Alamaa tried to get around #31 Rick Smith on the inside and outside, he finally was able to take the lead over with 2 laps to go. After battling side-by-side for the last 2 laps, #8 Dan Alamaa was able to get his second win of 2021.

SUNOCO Race Fuels Grand American Modifieds. #89 Jacob Smith and #24 Nathan Gasser started on the front row for the 30 lap Grand American Modified feature. #24 Nathan Gasser quickly took the lead, but had an unfortunate break after 4 laps and #51 Kyle Clegg took over the lead. #51 Kyle Clegg and #13 Darin Clark were running 1st and second and had a large lead over the rest of the field. After a yellow flag at half way for a car that spun, #9 CJ Wilson’s night ended after riding the front stretch wall on the restart. For the second half of the race, #51 Kyle Clegg continued to lead as #13 Darin Clark tried to close in on him, but #51 Kyle Clegg went on to win the feature.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Brewery Pure Stocks. The 25 lap Pure Stock feature started with OH6 Mahkrysta Hilton and #9 Cole Baker on the front row. After the green flag, the race was quickly red flagged for #60 Matthew Hill and #76 Russell Darnell who were stuck on top of each other. After going back green, there were close battles throughout the field until the next caution came out. After 11 laps completed and third caution involving the OH6 Mahkrysta Hilton and #9 Cole Baker, the race was shortened to a green-white-checkered because of the time limit. 14g Christopher Galvin was able to miss all the on track incidents to win his first race of 2021.
