May 23, 2026 - Dacono, CO
Colorado National Speedway once again welcomed the ARCA Menards Series West on Saturday, May 23, 2026, as fans packed the grandstands to watch some of the best drivers in stock car racing take on the 150-lap feature event. A stunning Colorado evening served as the backdrop for the night’s action, which also featured support races from local fan-favorite divisions including the Grand American Modifieds and, of course, the always-chaotic Figure 8s. The event marked the first of two consecutive nights of racing over Memorial Day weekend.
Before the green flag waved, Colorado National Speedway also paused to remember Kyle Busch. Though not a direct part of the local racing community, Busch’s impact on the motorsports world cannot be understated, and the CNS family continues to hold his loved ones in their thoughts and prayers.
Get caught up on all the race action below.

Feature – 150 Laps
With the No. 1 of Robbie Kennealy and the No. 50 of Trevor Huddleston on the front row, followed by the No. 16 of Hailie Deegan, the No. 4 of Kyle Keller, and the No. 71 of Cole Denton, the ARCA race got underway in front of a full house of fans. Kennealy darted away from the field with Huddleston hot on his heels, while Deegan and Keller did battle for P3. On Lap 6, Huddleston caught Kennealy and looked for any way around him possible, just about wearing out his rear bumper. Keller was pulling similar moves on Deegan, trying to demote her. Huddleston looked to the inside of Kennealy, but Kennealy got the advantage on the straights, losing ground in the corners. The top two had a big gap on the rest of the field, and aside from Kennealy and Huddleston, the pack was fairly well spaced-out, meaning lapped traffic had already become an issue on Lap 14. Deegan and Keller made light contact, but Deegan shook him and got the advantage, opening up a car-length lead on him. On Lap 23, Huddleston finally had a shot at Kennealy, and the two pulled side-by-side until Huddleston got the advantage diving into Turn 3. Huddleston took off now, as P2 opened a gap all the way to Deegan, who was almost a full straightaway behind.
P7 on back raced tightly, all chasing Huddleston as he continued to show the way. But more lapped traffic looked ahead, potentially giving Kennealy another chance to take the lead away. But Huddleston continued his blistering pace, able to breathe a bit as he had a few corners between himself and slower traffic. Thirty-five laps in, the field seemed mostly settled out. The No. 19 of Mason Massey, looking at the top five from just outside, managed to keep them in his sights.
On Lap 40, Kennealy chased Huddleston into lapped traffic as they again caught slower cars, which both benefitted Huddleston by giving him a buffer between himself and Kennealy, but also ran the risk of slowing him up. With the No. 5 of Eric Johnson Jr. and the No. 66 of Cade Fox two-wide in front of him, Huddleston bided his time and patiently waited for a way around them. Two lapped cars almost got into each other directly in front of the leader, until finally one spun, but cleared the racing surface. A caution waved for the first time, slowing the field on Lap 51. Huddleston and Kennealy would have another shot at each other when the green dropped next. It also helped Deegan and Keller cut the gap, followed by Denton and Massey. The green fell on Lap 57, handing control to Huddleston as Kennealy slotted in behind him. Deegan and Keller went side by side, but Massey mounted a charge on the outside, trying to fend off a charge from the No. 15 of Mia Lovell while he was at it. Denton looked to the inside of Keller for P4. Keller held onto the position, and Denton fell back, now tasked with keeping Massey out of the top five. Massey would not be denied, however, and overtook Denton on the low side, rocketing into P5 after a tense battle.
The pack held formation like that heading to the halfway point. The track was clear of lapped traffic in front of the leaders, at least for now. But a battle brewed between Fox and Lovell, as Fox pressured Lovell for seventh, but could not seal the deal before the competition caution waved at Lap 75, marking the race’s halfway point. The entire field ducked off onto Pit Road for service.
The pack returned to the racing surface with Huddleston back out front. Deegan and Keller renewed their battle, which was the closest fight in the field as the rest got strung out single-file. Keller finally got the upper hand and got away with P3, but was now tasked with reeling in the leaders, who had now opened a generous advantage over the rest. Now, cars raced in all four corners of the track as the faster leaders got close to the tail end of the pack. But Huddleston got through cleanly and emerged on the other side with a sizable lead on Kennealy. He maintained that lead, and by Lap 111, there were several lapped cars between them, keeping Huddleston safe from a charge from Kennealy, but giving Kennealy a challenge to overcome. Deegan washed up the track and fell out of the top five, overtaken by both Massey and Fox in rapid succession.
Fox continued his pointed charge toward the front. He just about wore out the bumper of Massey’s race car and galloped into fourth place, then set his sights on Keller. Up front, Keneally tried to cut the distance, but with just over 10 laps left, was running out of time to make something work. Fox gained on Keller and took a shot at his rear bumper, searching every inch of track for a way around him. He finally got his chance with just four laps left, going to Keller’s inside and completing the pass for third. Massey also overtook Keller, as Huddleston kept on putting on a clinic, absolutely dominating the race. Keneally brought home second, while Fox finished out the podium after a determined charge into the top three. What a birthday present for Fox, a local CNS driver who not only pulled double duty, but managed to be in competition for the win in both of his night’s events!

Fast Dash – 10 Laps
The No. 24 of Nathan Gasser and Ryan Jones’ No. 21 led to the line, but Gasser lunged ahead and put Jones solidly in P2 by the time they rounded the track to take Lap 2. By Lap 3, the field was spread out single-file in the lower groove, but the No. 32 of Cody Milan had his hands full of Cade Fox’s No. 51 He ceded the position as Fox completed the pass. Gasser was putting on a clinic, ditching Jones as the laps wound down. Jones tried one last time to cut the distance, but to no avail – Gasser led to the line.
Dash – 10 Laps
Headed by the No. 55 of Damian Lochart and the No. 90 of Frank Denning III, the GAM field headed out for their 10-lap dash to begin setting the field for their feature later in the night. Lockhart fired on the bottom, but Denning went high and pulled ahead of Lockhart on the backstretch. By Lap 2, everyone had strung out, all following Denning’s lead. Lockhart fell back slightly, fending off a charge from the No. 9 of CJ Wilson. Everyone settled in the low groove other than the No. 3 of Jeremiah Hill, who rode around on the high side trying to cut into the No. 41 of Eric Vos. Denning maintained his impressive lead, putting six car-lengths between himself and runner-up Lockhart at the line. Wilson rounded out the podium.
Feature – 30 Laps
Scotty Scott’s No. 6 and Jacob Smith’s No. 89 showed the field of 21 GAMs to the green flag. The snarling pack followed Scott across the line as Smith fell off the pace, opening the door for Steven Rodenbough to swing his No. 2 low and make a pass at second. However, he couldn’t make it stick as the top five spread out evenly, giving Scott a chance to strengthen his lead just three laps in. Jones leaned on Milan and picked him off to shoulder his way into the top five. A lapped car forced Scott to make some quick decisions, and that gave Smith the chance he needed to cut the gap and begin pressuring him for the lead. The two made light contact and Smith snapped loose, but got his race car back under him and shot after Scott once more. Rodenbough and Fox gained on the leaders, while Gasser looked for a way to crack the top five. The six-car breakaway out front culminated in the leaders making contact.
A caution waved, putting Smith and Scott in line alongside each other for the restart. Scott went low and Smith went high, but Gasser had entered the conversation and quickly overtook for second. Rodenbough and Fox battled behind them, and Fox got the advantage, riding in the upper lane while Rodenbough picked away at the bottom lane. Denning, now, began looking for his chance to break into the top five as Jones mounted a charge from P7 on the low side. Contact, however, sent Rodenbough spinning off the racing surface, filtering Denning into the top five.
Up front, a three-way battle for the lead ensued between Scott, Smith, and Gasser, who tried to split Scott but both backed out. Their battle opened the door for Fox to join the mix now, too. Scott pulled ahead slightly as Gasser and Smith paced each other, but Smith finally found the speed he needed to get out front. Scott fell back and raced side by side with Gasser for a few laps while Smith gapped the field. Smith now had lapped traffic to account for as the tail end of the field loomed in his windshield. Fox picked off Scott for second as they dealt with the lapped cars. Smith had checked out by this point, and rounded the track a few more times to secure the win and lead Smith and Fox to the checkers.

Dash – 10 Laps
The No. 15 of Jereme Wall shot into the lead like he was out of a cannon, while the No. 52 of Jared Wall tried to take over P2 but was challenged by the No. 18 of Dennis Stepanich II. Stepanich sliced down in front of Jared Wall and took off with P2. The No. 3 of Michael Wolfe Jr., however, quickly demoted Jared Wall and set out in hunt of Stepanich and Wall. Wolfe pressured Stepanich as they rounded the oval track, making a pass at him as they headed through The X, but backed off as they rounded the big track. Wall continued his lead as the field went single-file. Wolfe worked on Stepanich and finally got him heading through the X as they touched and bounced apart in the crossroads. However, a light impact between two cars in The X forced a caution with five to go. Jereme Wall took control once again at the drop of the green, but came under fire from Wolfe, who had control of P2. Wolfe got right on Jereme Wall’s bumper with two laps left. Wolfe looked high, then low, racing side by side on the last lap. Wolfe would not be shaken and made one last attempt at the lead heading to the stripe, but Wall mounted a charge on the outside to win.
Feature – 20 Laps
The No. 20 of Isaiah Proctor looked low and took off as the No. 71 of Isaac Martinez emerged from the pack to challenge him, but fell back and began battling the No. 26 of Nick Martinez to hang onto second. Proctor took off as the pack fanned out two- and three-wide behind him. Martinez finally shook Jared Wall and took possession of P2, but Jereme Wall had already fought his way into third and took second away from his brother in short succession. Wolfe was also on his way toward the front, picking off the Stepanich, Jared Wall, and then Martinez as he locked onto Proctor and Jereme Wall. A caution waved for two cars contacting one another and spinning out.
The restart nullified Proctor’s lead as Jereme Wall and Wolfe both took aim at him, but Proctor fended them off, at least at first. Proctor had his rearview full with Jereme Wall and Wolfe, though, and he washed up the track and gave Jereme Wall and Wolfe a shot at him. Jereme Wall took advantage of a three-wide situation through The X and pulled ahead, leaving Proctor to fight off Wolfe. Proctor put up a valiant effort trying to keep Wolfe at his back, but Wolfe ultimately completed the pass as Proctor fired back. But Proctor slipped back, and Wolfe tried not to let Jereme Wall get too far ahead. With the field now down to just six cars, Jereme Wall continued to lead them all. Wolfe cut the distance with just three laps left, getting within one car-length of Jereme Wall, filling Jereme Wall’s mirror. With two to go, Wolfe rode right up on Jereme Wall’s bumper, but he was running out of time to make something happen. Wolfe pulled side by side, staying right with Jereme Wall, but the 15 would not be denied and cruised to his first win of the 2026 season.
