BIG RIGS

Dash – 12 Laps

The No. 26 of Jaeger Berdahl and the No. 71 of Ron Singer led the upright field of Big Rig racers to the green flag for their Dash. The No. 70 of Gino Howe, however, wouldn’t be denied, and leaped out front to capture an early lead, the No. 26 truck of Berdahl hot on his tail. The No. 26 of Berdahl didn’t let the No. 70 of Howe go easily, though, and snagged the lead from him on just the second lap, while the No. 71 of Singer surged into second place. The No. 70 of Howe and the No. 71 of Singer fought hard for second place while Berdahl’s No. 26 got away with the race lead. Second place got sorted out, putting the No. 71 of Singer ahead and within reach of the No. 26 of Berdahl. With two to go, Singer threw the No. 71 below the No. 26 of Howe, ultimate capturing the top spot as the white flag flew and winning the Dash.

Feature – 40 Laps

Jeager’s No. 26 and Howe’s No. 70 comprised the front row for the Big Rig feature event, and as soon as the green flag fell, the tight pack of six semis dropped the hammer and stayed in tight formation as they charged into Turn 1. The No. 70 of Howe took control early, while Jeager’s No. 26 plummeted through the field to fifth place in the tight pack. Meanwhile, Singer, on a mission, guided the No. 71 truck to the top spot after starting dead last in sixth place, challenging the No. 70 of Howe neck-and-neck for the race lead. Behind them, the pack fanned three wide for third place. They didn’t stray too far from one another, battling side-by-side throughout the field and using up just about every inch of racetrack.

The No. 59 of Glen Creed suddenly entered the picture for the race lead on Lap 15, contacting Singer’s No. 71, who got loose on the front stretch but managed to keep all four wheels under him and claim the lead with the No. 70 of Howe to his inside at the halfway mark. He then set sail, leaving second place to Howe’s No. 70 machine while a fight for third shaped up between the No. 59 of Glen Creed and the No. 15 of Ashley Creed. They held position until a yellow was called for debris in Turn 3. On the restart, Singer’s No. 71 and Howe’s No. 70 took over the front row. Singer’s No. 71 settled back into the lead while Ashley Creed’s No. 15 and Howe’s No. 70 duked it out for second. Singer guided the No. 71 smoothly through the turns to take the feature victory.

Fast Dash – 10 Laps

The Fast Dash was the Jordan Abeyta show, as the No. 23 held off the No. 9 of Brent Cave without breaking a sweat. Cave’s No. 9 attempted to mount a charge several times but could not get to the No. 23 of Abeyta, who took the trophy in dominating fashion.

Dash – 10 Laps

The No. 21 driven by Chris Nelson jumped out front to lead early, but the No. 11W of Scott Long kept him on a tight leash as the two battled back and forth for a few laps. Long’s No. 11W just about wore out the rear bumper of Nelson’s No. 21 as the two made contact several times, while the No. 97 of Kyle Stidham slipped into third after starting in the rear. With two laps left, Nelson’s No. 21 was contacted by Long’s No. 11W, causing the former to slip back to third as Stidham put the No. 97 into second place. Long and the No. 11W crossed the line in first.

Feature – 25 Laps

The No. 82 of Ian Clark and the No. 4 of Chris Jordan took the green flag on the front row. However, the No. 82 of Clark found itself turned the wrong direction after contact with the No. 99JR of Ryan Raley Jr., triggering a wreck on the first lap as the No. 9 of Cave and the No. 90 of Alex Rodriguez also went around. The field was reined in for a second attempt at the restart, with the No. 82 of Clark back on the front row and the No. 9 of Cave putting pressure on him once the race restarted. Cave’s No. 9 would lead the first lap, demoting Clark’s No. 82 as the No. 23 of Abeyta galloped into second place. Meanwhile, the No. 90 of Rodriguez had suffered damage in the earlier incident, but continued on even with the front fascia bowed inward. The No. 23 of Abeyta and the No. 9 of Cave put half a straightaway on the rest of the field.

With 15 laps left, the No. 4 of Jordan struck the wall, but he was able to gather it back up and continue on as the yellow flag was waved. The ensuing restart put the No. 23 of Abeyta and the No. 9 of Cave side by side up front, and Cave’s No. 9 got the advantage. While Abeyta’s No. 23 tried to reel in Cave’s No. 9, the No. 82 of Clark fought for fifth with the No. 3 of Mike Cox. The No. 90 of Rodriguez went for a neat spin off Turn 2, but kept it out of trouble. Long’s No. 11W eked into third place, while Cave’s No. 9 and Abeyta’s No. 23 set out ahead of the pack. Abeyta threw the No. 23 to the inside of Cave’s No. 9, but couldn’t make it stick – it was the No. 9 of Cave ahead at the line for the win.

AC Transmission Legends FAST

Fast Dash – 10 Laps

The No. 78C of Colton Crocker claimed the lead just two laps in, right before a wreck occurred on the front stretch involving the No. 17 of Chris Saykally, the No. 18 of JJ Sanders, and the No. 48 of Preston Nakayama, causing a red flag. Once things were cleaned up, Crocker’s No. 78C leaped right back into the lead. As the laps ticked down, Crocker’s No. 78C came under fire of the No. 66 driven by Kyle Clegg and the No. 22 of Chris Eggleston. Wheel-to-wheel, the No. 66 of Clegg and the No. 22 of Eggleston ran flat-out for the lead, with the No. 22 of Eggleston edging ahead by a fraction of a second at the line.

Fast Feature – 25 Laps

Seventeen cars took the green behind the No. 21 of Ryan Jones and the No. 78C of Crocker. Crocker’s No. 78C took off with the top spot, while the No. 22 of Eggleston got around the No. 03 of Darrel Stewart for second place as Crocker had to retire the No. 78C, pulling off and surrendering first place to Jones’ No. 21. The No. 03 of Stewart fell behind the No. 66 of Clegg, who charged into third place. Jones’ No. 21 settled into a rhythm, pulling the No. 22 of Eggleston and the No. 66 of Clegg behind him in bumper-to-bumper formation.

On Lap 11, Eggleston’s No. 22 finally executed the pass for first on the No. 21 of Jones, leading a three-car breakaway from the rest of the field. Clegg threw the No. 66 into second place over Jones’ No. 21, then set out to track down the No. 22 of Eggleston. Eggleston asked even more of the No. 22 race car, stretching his lead over the No. 66 driven by Clegg all the way to the checkered flag.

AC Transmission Legends

Dash – 10 Laps

The No. 01 of Gary Land took the lead early, while the No. 56 of Nick Gunther and the No. 29 of David Johnson tracked him down. Once it was sorted out, Johnson’s No. 29 took control, while the No. 45 of Cole Tuttle commanded third place and looked to take over second. The No. 29 of Johnson continued to show the way, while Tuttle’s No. 45 put pressure on him for the race lead and the No. 56 of Gunther paced them both. Ultimately, Gunther’s No. 56 earned the Legend Dash win.

Feature – 20 Laps

After a failed first attempt at the start, the No. 73 of Mike Markison jumped to the top of the leaderboard, but he was only able to cling to the top spot for four laps before the No. 57 of Jarret Scarberry took first place away from him. Scarberry set sail, putting some asphalt between his No. 57 machine and the No. 73 of Markison, although the fight wasn’t over yet. Markison began to reel Scarberry in, while the No. 45 of Tuttle and the No. 95 of Jessilyn Dike went after each other for third place.

On Lap 16, a yellow waved, as the No. 45 of Tuttle had caught fire. Once everything was extinguished, Scarberry’s No. 57 prepared to restart alongside the No. 73 of Markison, beginning their battle anew. However, Scarberry’s No. 57 checked out with the race lead, and went on to win his second Legend feature – in fact, he’s undefeated thus far; he’s won two of two feature races he’s competed in.

Dash - 10 Laps

On a chaotic start to the 10-lap dash, the No. 68 of Wyatt Dent claimed the lead, while the No. 08 of Tanner McKim took second away from the No. 38 of Javon Barnard. Madilyn Lange’s No. 21 emerged to take second, battling with the No. 09 of Cody Bergren for second as the No. 08 of McKim spun. The No. 09 of Bergren finally took second away from the No. 21 of Madilyn Lange, tailing the No. 68 of Dent across the line.

Feature - 12 Laps

The feature saw the No. 38 of Javon Barnard and the No. 68 of Dent up front. Dent’s No. 68 jumped into first place, even while the No. 10 of Zoey Capps-Whitfield spun behind him. She kept it clean and the race was able to stay green. Dent continued to lead in the No. 68, putting some distance between himself and the rest of the pack. About halfway through the race, the No. 21 spun from third, but the race stayed green once again, doing little to stall Dent’s dominating performance in the No. 68 machine. Dent’s No. 68 took the checkers without question.

Bandits

Dash - 10 Laps

For the 10-lap dash, the No. 89 of Justin Barnard and the No. 5 of Reagan Fruge started up front, allowing the No. 5 of Fruge to claim an early lead. The No. 12 of Aspyn Lange fought with the No. 89 of Barnard for second place while Fruge’s No. 5 checked out. Eventually, Lange’s No. 12 executed the pass for second and followed Fruge’s No. 5 across the line for the win.

Feature - 12 Laps

In 12-lap feature, Lange picked up right where she left off in the No. 12 machine, leading the field to green besides the No. 23 of Peyton Opperman. However, Fruge’s No. 5 lunged into the lead, pulling the No. 12 of Lange behind him. Then, Fruge’s No. 5 spun just two laps in, allowing Lange’s No. 12 to reclaim the top spot. Just four laps in, the No. 89 of Barnard contacted the No. 29 of Nora Smith hard, causing a red flag. Once everyone was squared away, the race restarted, allowing the No. 12 of Lange to claim the lead again over the No. 23 of Oppperman, and she didn’t look back on her way to the checkers.
