The headline act was a thrilling 100-lap Feature that saw Kevin and Keelan Harvick go head-to-head, keeping fans on their feet as father and son battled for the win. The Legends closed out their weekend with another action-packed race, backed by an outstanding showing from Super Stocks, Bandoleros, and Figure 8s.

CARS Tour West Pro Late Models
Feature – 100 Laps
The Harvick Showdown lived up to its name. With the No. 29 of Kevin Harvick and the No. 62 of Keelan Harvick on the front row, father and son circled the track to take the green flag, leading a packed field of 17 glistening Pro Late Model machines. Kevin got the jump, clearing the pack as the No. 15 of Jace Hale battled the No. V5 of Vito Cancilla for P2. They traded position for a few corners before Cancilla claimed the position, with Keelan plummeting to P5 as his father commanded the race. Hale and the No. 1 of Buddy Shepherd battled for P3, and Keelan made it a three-way conversation. Keelan picked off Shepherd, claiming fourth, as Shepherd drifted high into the clutches of the No. 17M of Taylor Mayhew. Shepherd ran for his life, barely keeping control of fifth place as the field stretched out behind Kevin Harvick, still solidly out front. The field held formation for a few laps as Keelan reeled Hale in, pulling even with him before finally digging in and completing the pass. Keelan continued to work his way forward, intent on clawing his way to the front of the pack.
Kevin encountered lap traffic on Lap 18, but got through cleanly – and when he did, he suddenly had a rearview mirror full of Keelan. Before Keelan could reel his dad in on speed alone, a single car incident forced a caution. It was Harvick vs. Harvick on the front row again, looking for the snap of the green, and Kevin lunged out ahead with Keelan following his every move. Meanwhile, Shepherd battled against Cancilla and snatched third place out from under him, but Cancilla put Shepherd back on the defensive as he tried to work the lower line to make something stick. The field once again strung out with 25 laps in the books as Kevin gapped Keelan, but not for long. Keelan found a groove and chipped into his father’s lead, filling his mirrors as he paced him lap after lap. Meanwhile, the No. 40 of Mia Lovell and the No. 55 of Linny White raced hard for seventh place, neither letting up as they raced side by side for a few laps until Mia finally got away with the position.
Up front, Kevin continued to show the way, teaching his son the best way around the track – but here came Shepherd, riding closer to the wall than either of the Harvicks, closing the gap. Then, another single car incident impeded the racing surface, necessitating a caution. On the restart, Kevin stayed even with Keelan for the first few corners until Kevin finally got the advantage. They broke away from the rest of the field, but Shepherd tried to make the high side work, holding off Cancilla while trying to close the distance between his nose and the leaders’ rear bumpers. The field again settled out, heading to the halfway point.
Kevin still held control at the halfway mark, steadily gaining on lapped traffic. The field was evenly spread out by this point, and Kevin faced no real pressure from Keelan, who had fallen back, now with a lapped car between himself and Kevin. Then, on Lap 68, a caution flew for debris in Turn 1, once again resetting the field and giving Keelan a shot at his dad on the front row for the restart. Father and son raced wheel-to-wheel, and to the delight of the fans, Keelan took control, but not for long as a caution flew for a slow car in Turns 1 and 2. When the race restarted, Keelan hit his marks and held off Kevin, followed by Cancilla and Shepherd still working the high line to keep Hale behind him. As the Harvicks again ditched the field, Cancilla, Shepherd, and Hale scrapped and clawed for third on back; after some jostling, Shepherd took third position back. Behind them, the field spread out once more, all working the bottom lane, except for Shepherd, who stayed glued to the high groove.
Keelan started to split from the field as Kevin faded. With 10 laps to go, it looked like Keelan’s race to lose. He continued to hit his marks, but with six laps left, Kevin flipped a switch, chasing Keelan into lapped traffic. Lovell, meanwhile, picked off Hale, muscling her way into P5 on the last lap. Up front, Keelan executed a perfect race, outrunning his father to the line. Shepherd, Cancilla, and Lovell rounded out the top five.
Quick Time: No. 29, Kevin Harvick, 16.245
Feature: No. 62, Keelan Harvick
MMI Legends
A Dash – 15 Laps
Cody Milan’s No. 32 swung high to take the lead, but the No. 15 of Danny Medina fired back on the inside, and then Medina settled into to lead the first lap, but a caution waved for several cars tangling from inside the top five, ending up sideways in Turn 4. Medina retained the lead on the restart with Milan in hot pursuit, the top two breaking away from the rest of the field. Milan and Medina paced each other, but Milan could not find a way around, falling back into Medina’s tire tracks. He attempted to make a move in T4 but backed out on the front stretch, losing ground. Now, Medina began to gap Milan, followed by the No. 03 of Darrell Stewart, and the No. 17 of Jeremy Krueger, who were nowhere near the leaders. Milan gave it everything he had, chasing the back end of his car around the track as he tried to close the gap, but to no avail. Medina crossed the line ahead of Milan, with Stewart in P3 and Krueger almost half a track behind in P4.
B Dash – 15 Laps
The field maintained two-wide formation through the first two turns, but then a pair of cars spun out in T3 from the back of the pack, triggering a caution before even one lap was in the books. Once the race restarted, the No. 27 of Brian Harlow took over the lead. The No. 43 of Christian Bazen gained the advantage on the low line, just barely, and then had a comfortable lead after a few laps. But Harlow executed a perfect crossover move, fighting a loose race car off Turn 2, but slicing back into the lead anyway. Bazen charged back to Harlow’s door, slowing each other up and letting the No. 38 of Garrett Wilson make it a three-wide battle for the win. Wilson shot past Bazen and charged right up to Harlow’s rear bumper. As the white flag waved, Wilson made his move, briefly nosing ahead but falling back. He tried one last time, going high, falling short at the line as Harlow defended the lead to the checkers.
Fast Dash – 15 Laps
The No. 17M of Taylor Mayhew and the No. 12H of Colton Hale seemed evenly matched when the green dropped – at least through the first few corners, when Mayhew shot ahead of the rest. Hale plummeted, falling out of the top five, leaving the No. 22 of Chris Eggleston to challenge Mayhew up front. Five laps in, Eggleston had Mayhew in his grasp, and in two corners he had him behind him. The top three spread out evenly as Eggleston, Mayhew, and the No. 09 of Chase VanHouten broke away from the field. Mayhew closed on Eggleston rear bumper, but before he could make a move, a pair of cars tangled on the front stretch, sending the No. 16 Travis Roe side-over-side twice. Thankfully, Roe was ok, and able to exit the vehicle under his own power.
After a brief red flag, the race restarted. Eggleston defended the lead with pressure from Mayhew, but VanHouten was closing fast. The No. 51R of Brenden Ruzbarsky gained ground on the leaders, too as Hale cracked the top five with the No. 78C of Colton Crocker in close proximity. Eggleston and Mayhew broke away from the lead, while Ruzbarsky and VanHouten scrapped hard for P3, opening the door for Crocker to take a shot at both. Crocker slipped past VanHouten, overtaking for P4. Mayhew lost ground on Eggleston as the white flag flew over them. He mounted one final charge, but ran out of steam, and Eggleston took home the victory, followed by Mayhew, Ruzbarsky, Crocker, and Hale rounding out the top five in a thrilling Dash race.
Feature – 30 Laps
Capping off the third night of the three-day marathon, a snarling field of 34 Legend cars hit the track for their 30-lap Feature, led by Eggleston and Mayhew. Eggleston shot out front, leading Hale, but just three laps in, several race cars spun out in Turn 4, drawing a caution flag. Eggleston defended the lead on the restart, leading a massive gaggle of cars as they jockeyed for position. Hale sorted out into second, followed by Mayhew and Ruzbarsky. Hale suddenly found a burst of speed and shot into the lead, taking sole possession of P1 as Eggleston stalked him, intent on taking the position back. But he faded, stalked by Mayhew, as slower traffic loomed in front of them. After some dodgy moments, everyone got through unscathed, until a few cars caused a caution, going around between Turns 3 and 4.
The race restarted with 18 laps remaining. Eggleston and Hale battled hard for the lead. Hale delivered a shot to the Eggleston, unsettling him enough to open the door for Hale to take the lead with Mayhew sliding into P2. Eggleston pressured Mayhew, but before their battle could reach its natural conclusion, a multicar crash occurred heading out of Turn 4, wrapping up several cars. Yet another restart saw Hale reassume the point, chased by Mayhew. While the top four broke away, the field jostled behind them before unraveling into absolute chaos at the apex of Turns 3 and 4. Thankfully, that melee was quickly cleaned up, and the race resumed once the damaged race cars were cleared. When the green dropped, Hale took control of the race again, leading a long line of single-file cars as they reached eight laps left. Taking the green in single-file formation, Hale defended the top spot against Mayhew – until he couldn’t hold him off anymore, and Mayhew dropped low to claim the lead. Hale continued to drop, falling in behind Eggleston. With a clean racing surface ahead, Mayhew led right down to the line, taking the checkers even as Eggleston tried to find a way around him.

Puzzle Effect Bandoleros
At CNS, the Bandoleros division showcases the youngest racers on the track - some just eight years old! The pint-sized drivers cut their teeth at 30 to 50 mph on a shortened course that loops through Turns 1 and 2 of the “big” track before diving into the infield and circling back around. Like the drivers themselves, the races may be small, but they pack a punch, and they’re a vital part of the CNS family.
Outlaw Feature – 10 Laps
A big pileup occurred shortly after the green waved on the Outlaw feature, prompting a complete restart with the vehicle still able to race. That put the No. 23 of Peyton Opperman up front with the No. 2 of Dutch Vanderwal behind him, fighting the No. 60 of Liam Hammond for second place. Hammond easily pushed past Vanderwal and Opperman before slicing into the lead. From there, he put the hammer down and laid down a massive lead over Vanderwal, who also overtook Opperman. Nobody could hold a candle to Hammond as he expertly rounded the short Bando track to claim his second win in three races run throughout the weekend.
Bandit Feature – 10 Laps Scheduled; 1 Laps Complete
Unfortunately, the Bandolero Bandit division was unable to complete its race due to time constraints following a big crash on the front stretch on the first lap, and then a second large incident occurring just after the attempted restart. As such, the No. 23M Izaak Mead claimed victory, winning all three of his races this weekend.

Feature – 20 Laps
The No. 67 of Kylan Swenson launched himself into the lead with the No. 64 of Michael Kephart in close quarters. The No. 15 of Jereme Wall and the No. 3 of Michael Wolfe Jr. who started at the back, were steadily making their way through the field. Wall took control of third while Wolfe demoted the No. 20 of Isaiah Proctor, cracking the top four. Wall swung inside Swenson before backing out, and then made it stick in the next turn, claiming the lead after starting dead last. Then, a single car spun in T4 of the regular track by himself, triggering a caution period and bunching the field back up for a restart. Wall took off with a healthy lead, leaving the field to sort itself out behind him. Wolfe, on a mission after restarting in the rear, charged his way into third, pressuring Swenson for second place. One corner later, he had him, and now, the only car between him and the win was Wall. Wall didn’t break a sweat as Wolfe dug in, picking up time each lap – but with just nine laps left, he didn’t have much time to make something happen. The No. 38 of Javon Barnard looked to the inside of Swenson, dodging him as he dove across his bumper and taking control of third in one fell swoop. Wall maintained his strong lead over Wolfe, toying with slower traffic headed the other direction through The X by gunning it – and even after he took the win, he floored it one more time, barely missing the tail end of the lead lap in The X.

Feature – 25 Laps
An absolutely massive field took the green – 35 cars! – behind the No. 11W of Scott Long, who ditched the rest of the field, staring down a 2- and 3-wide pack in his rearview. While Long set the pace, the No. 35 of Greg Dreiling and the No. 4 of Chris Jordan battled fender-to-fender for second place. Jordan cleared Dreiling, but Dreiling fired back on the inside, bringing the fight into side-by-side formation once again. Their battle let Long get away, while the No. 32 of Rick Phillips suddenly swung into third, stalking the leaders. Further back, after starting mid-pack the No. 49 of Chris Cox and the No. 9 of Brent Cave began to march forward through the field. By Lap 13, Long had his hands full of lapped traffic, slowing him up enough to allow the second- and third-place cars to close in on his rear bumper. The No. 97 of Kyle Stidham, who had a tentative hold on third place, suddenly found himself in the clutches of Cox, while Jordan cut away at Long’s lead up front. But before Jordan could make a move on Long, a caution waved for a multicar incident that impeded the racing surface.
Stidham and Long restarted alongside each other on the front row, but before they could get rolling, another caution waved, turning the lead over to Stidham. Stidham took off with the top spot with Long and Cox in tow. Cox made short of Long, settling into second with Cave in tight formation. Jordan and the No. 23 of Jordan Abeyta fought hard for fourth behind them while Cox shot after Stidham up front. But Cox had a new problem in the form of Cave’s No. 9, who was all over Cox’s rear bumper, looking to take P2 away. While Stidham ran away with the victory – his second of the year – Cox sealed the deal for second with Cave solidly in third.

Quick Time: No. 49, Chris Cox, 19.586
Feature: No. 97, Kyle Stidham
