Well people, here we are: damned if we do, and damned if we don't. If we call the rain out right now, it sucks. If we don't call the rain out and a few thousand people gather... just to watch it rain out; that's even worse. You can see by the forecast below it's supposed to rain all afternoon and evening, and the track will never get a chance to dry with the cold temperatures. If you live in NoCo you know that it rained all night last night and it's crazy wet out here already. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to call Saturday, October 1st a rain out. Sorry folks... mother nature has been especially cruel this summer.
